Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Regularly clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital, including examination rooms, surgery suites, waiting areas, restrooms, and office spaces. Use appropriate cleaning agents and follow specific protocols for disinfection.
- Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner. Handle medical waste and sharp objects according to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Laundry Management: Launder and properly store all hospital linens, including bedding, towels, and staff uniforms. Ensure a continuous supply of clean linens.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries. Notify management of any shortages or equipment needs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Special Cleaning Tasks: Perform deep cleaning and specific tasks as assigned, such as window cleaning, floor waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Client Interaction: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and their pets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
