Experienced Associate Veterinarian, New Graduate, and Urgent Care Opportunities at Gill Bright Animal Hospital in Lake Charles, LA!
Gill Bright Animal Hospital is a gorgeous, small animal practice in Lake Charles that has everything and more if you want to learn and become a better doctor in a safe environment with the upmost gold standard of veterinary care.
We provide all kinds of services with the best tools and equipment to help you with your day to day. We are a small animal general practice hospital that is expanding into urgent care to better serve our community. We provide advanced medicine and top of the line care; everything from vaccinations, laser therapy, endoscopy, abdominal ultrasounds, soft tissue surgeries, new scope, echoes, wet tables, etc. We even have our own blood bank, ultrasound suite, and surgery suites! We have a boarded surgeon that comes in about once a week as well as access to specialists on staff!
Gill Bright Animal Hospital is a mentorship machine! We love having students join us for externships as we have 3 designated mentors right now to support not only new graduates, but we foster a teaching culture all around. We not only mentor veterinary skills, but also business leadership skills and medical advancement programs! We have a 2.5 DVM to technician ratio. We’re a fun, hardworking multi-doctor team with a utilized support staff that can produce.

Ideal Candidate
- Louisiana Veterinary License- active and in good standing
- Continual learning personality and teamwork mentality
- Ideal Schedule for GP position 4 days a week and about every 3rd Saturday OR
- Ideal Schedule for Urgent Care Saturdays (no Sundays) Noon-8pm working in some GP days as well to account for full time
