Job Title: Vocational Program Supervisor

The Vocational Program Supervisor supports the Mission Vista mission by assisting the Vocational Program Manager and by providing coordination and support for the Vocational Program staff and clients to help ensure our clients obtain and maintain successful employment and integration in the community.

Job Level:

Professional level staff with some supervisory responsibilities. Reports to the Vocational Program Manager.

Job Category: Full-time, salaried.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist the Vocational Program Manager by meeting with new clients and delegating new clients to appropriate staff.

· Plan and facilitate (with individual participants) service planning meetings (SPMs), being sure to invite all necessary people in a timely manner to allow for maximum participation. Write and execute Service Plans.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each individual assigned to our program including but not limited to completion of yearly permissions, rights and grievances and emergency information.

· Audit case notes and refer them back to the SPM goal.

· Attend annual case manager meetings to discuss Person Centered Service Plan’s (PCSPs) for individual clients and report accurate support information.

· Maintain a network of professional contacts with potential employers, HR professionals and other community contacts relevant to job development.

· Ensure that all work is completed thoroughly, and deadlines are met, including but not limited to service data logs (SetWorks), payroll, invoices, reports, meetings and other documentation and communication as required.

· Bill monthly to the county ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of paystubs received to complete billing.

· Answer phone calls and manage issues within our department when the Vocational Program Manager is not available.

· Attend provider meetings with the County. Attend weekly Mission Vista management meeting.

· Provide Vocational Program updates when requested.

· Manage employee schedules and fix timecard issues (i.e., missing timecard punches).

· Other duties as assigned. This job description is not designed to cover all activities, duties, or responsibilities.

· Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding and compliance with company and Department of Disability Association (DDA) policies, procedures and guidelines including Washington Administrative Code (WAC).

· Availability and willingness to work non-standard hours, as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Technical Skills:

· Demonstrated ability to use computers and related technology effectively.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite software.

· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Experience, Education, Licenses and Certifications:

· At least 3 years’ experience in a related field is required.

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Caregiving or related experience preferred.

· First Aid, CPR & Blood Borne Pathogens certification within 90 days of employment (training provided) required.

· Valid WA state driver’s license and proof of insurance required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This job requires the routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and filing cabinets, with or without accommodation. The ability to lift up to 30 lbs., remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the work environment, operate office productivity machinery (such as a computer), occasionally ascend/descend stairs, and constantly communicate and exchange accurate information is required with or without accommodation. Visual, verbal and audio acuity are required with or without accommodation.

Salary Range:$56,000 – $64,000 DOE

Benefits:

Health Benefits: medical, dental, vision & life insurance upon 60 days from date of hire.

Vacation: Paid vacation accrual of 2 weeks during the first year for use after 90 days of employment.

Holiday Pay: Paid holidays after 90 days of employment.
