A Lead Advisor is primarily responsible for driving new business while maintaining a high standard of client service and team leadership. The majority of time is dedicated to business development, in addition to managing a book of clients as a Wealth Advisor and overseeing the Diamond Team, typically composed of three other team members. Interacting with high-net-worth individuals, executives, business owners, and families, you’re confident being yourself and possess a high emotional IQ. You’re articulate, polished, and have an aptitude for financial vernacular. Extremely analytical and a great listener, you will master data gathering, drafting goals, and creating financial plans that speak to the clients in “their” language. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Develop new leads and referrals to expand the firm's client base.
- Meet with prospective clients to present tailored proposals and solutions.
- Represent the firm at networking events and branch presentations.
Client Relationship Management
- Personally manage a book of business generating approximately $1MM in revenue (typically 20-40 clients).
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction, retention, and proactive financial planning.
- Collaborate with clients to address their entire financial picture, including estate planning, tax strategies, and long-term wealth management.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead a high-performing, growth-oriented team.
- Run a weekly team huddle and conduct regular check-ins (biweekly/monthly), quarterly conversations, and annual reviews.
- Provide technical financial guidance to clients and Wealth Advisors.
What You Bring as a Lead Advisor:
Experience & Expertise
- 5-10 years of experience in financial advisory services, including client relationship management, business development, and wealth planning.
- Extensive experience advising high-net-worth families on comprehensive financial planning, investment strategies, estate, tax, cash flow planning, and philanthropy.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, MoneyGuide, eMoney, Tamarac AdvisorView, Holistiplan, and Hidden Levers.
- Proven ability to mentor, manage, and coach team members while driving revenue growth through custodial referral platforms, community involvement, asset gathering and COI & client referrals.
Leadership & Client-Centric Skills
- The confidence, poise, and gravitas required to be a trusted advisor to affluent families.
- Ability to strategically align financial plans with a client’s overall vision and coordinate with external advisors.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation).
- Strong leadership skills, fostering team performance, professional development, and collaboration.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and strong work ethic.
Certifications & Attributes:
- CFP® required; additional certifications (CFA, CPA, CAIA, CIMA) strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, salaried non-exempt
Location: This position is a hybrid position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Salary: Total Compensation - $200,000 annually
