Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique hospitality company that operates restaurants primarily in high traffic airports, including Denver International Airport, John Wayne Airport and San Diego International Airport. Mission operates a wide range of concepts, including fast food, fast-casual, retail and full-service restaurants and bars.
We are seeking a Director of Operations who is a team-player driven by providing top-tier service within our operations team! We are looking for a problem solver, critical thinker and innovator that can lead by example and motivate the Operations Team to be the best in the industry.
What We Are Looking For:
- Candidates who: possess at least (7) years experience in multi-unit operations management;
- Possess at least (5) year of management experience that includes employee staffing, retention, training and development;
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary degree in hospitality, operations management, business administration preferred;
- Experience in the Restaurant and Hospitality industry required;
- Experience in Airport Concessions preferred;

- Ensures all operating and service standards are met;
- Upholds a professional and ethical style and presentation;
- Experience opening new restaurants is highly preferred;

- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines.
- Must have a valid driver's license;
Job-Specific Duties:
- Oversee Operations management team in Colorado to warrant the best performance from the staff;
- Support the restaurant management team, and regularly evaluate and assess their performance;
- Ongoing communication and coordination of day-to-day operations, reporting to Executive Leadership;
- Create and improve procedures and the specifications to follow for the execution of projects for the restaurant management team;
- Strengthen the business by evolving and coaching the restaurant operations/management team;
- Enforce decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals to ensure company growth;
- Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback;
- Engage with current employees to motivate and organize appropriate training;
- Improve organizational effectiveness by showing exemplary leadership and sustaining the organization’s operations;
- Modify tangible contributions to the advancement of organizational goals by developing strategies to ensure that members of staff adhere to them for successful implementation;
- Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to Operations Managers and Executive Leadership for consideration;
- Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency;
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation, and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive and productive working environment;
- Take ownership for staff welfare by providing all their needs, and ensuring a conducive work environment for enhanced production;
- Participate in weekly management team meetings: discuss, develop, correct, and focus on necessary Company objectives, with follow-through with updates provided to Operations Managers and Executive Leadership.

Physical Demands:
