Mission Yogurt, Inc. is a boutique concessionairre company that operates restaurants primarily in high traffic airports, including Denver International Airport and San Diego International Airport. Mission operates a wide range of concepts, including fast food, fast-casual, full-service restaurants and retail stores.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for developing and managing top strategic partnerships to deliver growth opportunities for Mission Yogurt. This includes cultivating relationships with top-performing restaurant brands to identify their preferences in forming long-term partnerships and helping them understand the value of partnering with Mission Yogurt for new airport restaurant related opportunities. The Strategic Partnership Manager maintains relationships with business partners, enhancing Mission Yogurt’s quality of customer service, and identifies opportunities for new alliances and develop strategies for raising revenue. This role also assists with the airport bidding process from start to finish, working alongside a team of architects, graphic designers and proposal writers. This role reports to Executive Leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifying Opportunities
· Identify opportunities for new alliances to expand Mission Yogurt’s market reach, improving public image and business performance for airport-related restaurant opportunities.
· Work Executive Leadership to determine new bidding opportunities and strategic direction.
· Create and deliver compelling presentations to potential partners.
· Generate new leads and secure license agreements with priority retail and food and beverage brands.
Strengthening Relationships
· Strengthen existing business relationships, ensuring the partnerships are profitable and beneficial to all parties.
· Strengthen supplier and service provider relationships, ensuring timely payments and addressing conflicts as they arise.
· Maintain strong professional relationships across the organization through clear communication, seamless integration, timely execution, and the highest integrity.
· Work alongside the President and Vice President in enhancing the company’s relationships with community leaders, executive airport directors, vendors, government officials, and other influential stakeholders and business partners.
Designing Policies
· Create and maintain effective framework and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for managing business relationships, contributing to an environment where partnerships can thrive.
· Design and maintain effective SOPs for Request for Proposal (RFP) bidding process under the direction of the President and Vice President
Ensuring Compliance
· Collaborate with senior managers to understand proposed legal terms of agreement, ensuring wise business decisions are being made.
· Assist senior managers in designing strategies for enhancing adherence to formal strategic partnership contracts; including, but not limited to Letter of Intent, Teaming Agreement and Licensing/Franchising Agreement.
Managing RFP Process
· Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) bidding process from start to finish, with the goal of winning every bid submitted.
· Work alongside contracted team of architects, graphic designers and proposal writers, ensuring all proposals are compliant and submitted on time.
· Engage senior managers and key Mission Yogurt staff in RFP process, communicating needs and coordinating committees to put together the strongest proposals possible.
· Act as liaison between brand partners and proposal team, fostering the health and vibrancy of a long-term relationship with our brand partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a business development and/or strategic planning role. Proven track record of securing and leading strategic partnerships, preferably within the restaurant industry, hospitality industry, airport concessions industry or closely related field. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENCY:
Two years of the appropriate type and level of experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education. (For example, if a Bachelor’s Degree is required, eight years of relevant experience can be substituted.)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
