What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Android Engineer position at Mission?
We are looking for a highly creative and analytical Android Developer with strong expertise in building high-performance native mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be proactive in adopting the latest technologies and ensuring code quality, consistency, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Ensure consistency and maintainability across the Android codebase, following best practices in design patterns, naming conventions, and architecture.
- Optimize app performance, stability, and responsiveness through diagnostic tools and monitoring systems.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Jetpack Compose and declarative UI programming.
- Knowledge of crash monitoring and performance diagnostics.
- Manage app deployment, including submission to Google Play, and oversee beta testing using Firebase App Distribution and/or Bitrise.
- Implement MVVM architecture and data-driven UI using LiveData/Flows and reactive programming principles.
