Job Description

Our client is looking for a skilled CT TECHNOLOGIST to join their teamand play a vital role in performing CT scans and procedures under thesupervision of qualified physicians for the diagnosis, treatment, andprevention of diseases. As a CT Technologist, you will interpretphysician scanning instructions accurately, administer IV contrastmedia, and conduct scans according to established protocols. Yourexpertise in radiation safety will be essential for making technicaladjustments based on patient body habitus, age, and ALARA principles.Providing direct patient care to individuals of all ages, you will useyour exceptional customer service skills to treat each patient withrespect and courtesy, providing clear explanations of the examinationprocess. Your collaborative skills will help maintain a positive workenvironment.RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform routine x-ray and CT imaging procedures as prescribed byhealthcare providers.
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout imagingprocedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring accurate patientpositioning for optimal images.
• Provide direct patient care, accommodating the needs of patientsacross all age groups.
• Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns andensuring a positive experience.
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and afterimaging.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patientinformation, and any anomalies.
• Properly document radiation doses administered.
• Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance, punctuality, andsafety guidelines.
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.MUST HAVES :
• 1-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CT
• VOCATIONAL / TECHNICAL DEGREE IN RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY.
• CERTIFIED COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)(ARRT), CARDIOPULMONARYRESUSCITATION (CPR), AND BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS).
• Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance and punctualityguidelines.
• Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with theorganization's core values, mission, and vision.
• Complete all duties as required and follow departmental policiesand procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with knowledge in your field through self-educationand participation in ongoing educational programs.
• Attend staff meetings, mandatory in-services, and meet competencyevaluations promptly.
• Demonstrate competency in providing care to patients of all ages,considering their individual needs based on age, sex, and weight. Fornon-clinical areas, apply age-specific customer service skills ifapplicable.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.SALARY :
