Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled EMERGENCY CENTER RN to join abrand-new Level 2 trauma unit, providing high-quality professionalnursing care for assigned patients. This role involves patientassessment, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluatingoutcomes. The ideal candidate will deliver top-tier care that alignswith the hospital’s core mission and values. This is an urgenthiring opportunity for all shifts, with 12-hour shifts available.RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with organizationalvalues, mission, and vision.
- Maintain current knowledge in areas of responsibility throughself-education and attending educational programs.
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services andcompetency evaluations.
- Provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating competencybased on patient needs.
- Follow hospital and departmental attendance and punctualityguidelines.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary.MUST-HAVES :
- ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN NURSING from a state-accredited school.
- PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS) (or must obtain within 1year of hire).
- REGISTERED NURSE (RN) with a current Georgia license.
- ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS) (must be obtained within 6months of hire).
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS).
- ADVANCED STROKE LIFE SUPPORT (ASLS) (must be obtained within 2years of hire).
- NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH STROKE SCALE (NIHSS) certification(must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
- Strong COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basiccomputer proficiency.NICE TO HAVE'S :
- BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN NURSING from a state-accredited school.
- TRAUMA NURSING CORE COURSE (TNCC) certification.BASE SALARY : $37-46 / hour
- Critical care pay : $5 / hour
- Night shift differential : $5 / hour
- Weekend shift differential : $3.50 / hourLOCATION : Albany, GABENEFITS :
- Relocation assistance : Up to $10,000
- Sign-on bonus : $7,000 or more
