OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING A SOFTWARE ENGINEER (FULL STACK / UIFOCUS)! The ideal candidate will contribute to the development andcontinual improvement of a mature software system, ensuring itsscalability and maintainability. This role requires a collaborativeteam player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager toleverage modern development and design patterns. RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Contribute to the development and continual improvement of a maturesoftware system, including code, diagrams, and tests.
- Leverage development and design patterns to ensure the product’sscalability, maintainability, and long-term success.
- Understand API-driven microservice design patterns, NoSQLdatabases, data ingest tools (Apache NiFi), and modern web frameworks.
- Maintain a team player mentality as a collaborative member of afast-paced, structured 10-14 person team.MUST HAVE'S :
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (VueJS, React, Angular,etc.).
- Experience with Spring Boot REST APIs and Spring Libraries (SpringSecurity, Spring Data, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git and Maven.
- Experience in a Linux development environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and a track record of success ina 10 person team environment.
- SECURITY CLEARANCE : ACTIVE TS / SCI FSPNICE TO HAVE'S :
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, GraphDB, etc.).
- Experience with data wrangling (discovery, mining, cleaning,exploration, modeling, structuring, enriching, and validating) usingApache NiFi or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), Junit testing, orsimilar.
- DevOps experience with tools like Packer, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes,etc.).
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, and / or Groovy.LOCATION : Annapolis Junction, MDSALARY : $50K-$120KBENEFITS :
