Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled EMERGENCY CENTER RN to join a brand-new Level 2 trauma unit, providing high-quality professional nursing care for assigned patients. This role involves patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes. The ideal candidate will deliver top-tier care that aligns with the hospital’s core mission and values. This is an urgent hiring opportunity for all shifts, with 12-hour shifts available. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with organizational values, mission, and vision. * Maintain current knowledge in areas of responsibility through self-education and attending educational programs. * Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and competency evaluations. * Provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating competency based on patient needs. * Follow hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines. * Wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary. MUST-HAVES: * ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN NURSING from a state-accredited school. * PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS) (or must obtain within 1 year of hire). * REGISTERED NURSE (RN) with a current Georgia license. * ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS) (must be obtained within 6 months of hire). * BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS). * ADVANCED STROKE LIFE SUPPORT (ASLS) (must be obtained within 2 years of hire). * NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH STROKE SCALE (NIHSS) certification (must be obtained within 2 years of hire). * Strong COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS. * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basic computer proficiency. NICE TO HAVE'S: * BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN NURSING from a state-accredited school. * TRAUMA NURSING CORE COURSE (TNCC) certification.
