Job Description
Our client is seeking motivated individuals for the Sales Promotion/Customer Service Awareness Associate position at the Base Exchange on Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. This role is ideal for military spouses, veterans, military dependents, reservists, and jobseekers in the surrounding areas. The position starts as a 6-month contract with the potential for an indefinite extension. Selected candidates will undergo a 6-week paid training program, including 2 weeks of travel, to prepare for success in this customer-facing role. The hiring event will be happening on April 7, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to promote sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication.
- Actively listen to customer needs and demonstrate empathy.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment at the Base Exchange.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with customers.
Must Haves:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong empathy and active listening abilities.
- Comfortable speaking with people in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to work on-site at MCB Quantico, VA).
- Must be available for a 6-week paid training program (including 2 travel weeks).
- Preference for military spouses, veterans, military dependents, reservists, or jobseekers.

Salary: $29 per hour ($60,130 annually)
