Our client is seeking a National Industrial Security Program (NISP)Security Manager to oversee and manage security operations formultiple clients, primarily in northern Virginia. This is a full-time,immediate hire position offering competitive compensation andbenefits. The selected candidate will be responsible for securitymanagement duties, including performing roles such as FacilitySecurity Officer (FSO), ITPSO, and CPSO, while ensuring compliancewith government regulations and security protocols.RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO), ITPSO, and CPSO forvarious clients, primarily in northern Virginia.
- Oversee and manage DD 254's, personnel clearances, and othersecurity documentation.
- Utilize DISS, NISS, and NBIS accounts to track and manage personnelsecurity and clearances.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations,including federal laws and executive orders related to securitymanagement.
- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and maintenance ofsecurity policies and procedures.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and resolvesecurity vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, includinggovernment agencies, to support security efforts.
- Provide guidance and training to staff and clients regardingsecurity protocols and compliance requirements.
- Travel as needed to support client operations in the NationalCapitol Region.MUST HAVES :
- Must possess and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Personnel SecurityClearance with SCI Access Eligibility.
- At least 5 years of applicable experience as a Facility SecurityOfficer (FSO), with a strong background working with the DefenseCounterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA) and other governmentagencies.
- Extensive experience with DISS, NISS, and NBIS accounts forpersonnel security and clearance management.
- Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience in a related field.
- Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal laws, executive orders,directives, and regulations, including CFR 32, Rule 5305, andExecutive Orders.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaboratewith diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to workindependently or as part of a team.
- Ability to assess, detect, and resolve security-related issuesefficiently and effectively.NICE TO HAVES :
- NCMS ISP® Certification.
- Completion of relevant training courses from the Center forDevelopment of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Training,Education, and Professionalism Portal (STEPP), including :
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum
- Insider Threat Program training
- Insider Threat Awareness training
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) training
- Cyber Awareness training
- NISS External User trainingLOCATION : Northern Virginia (with travel required around LexingtonPark, MD area)SALARY : $75,000 - $110,000BENEFITS :
- 50% PAID for employees
- 25% PAID for dependents
- 40 hours PTO / year
