RN - Pulmonary Medical

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Pulmonary Medical to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients within a Pulmonary Medical unit, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the Pulmonary Medical unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education to support understanding of medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Document all care provided, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.

Nice to Haves:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience with a patient population similar to the Pulmonary Medical unit, or successful completion of the specialty residency offered at the facility.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

• Base Salary: $86,819 - $160,513 (USD)
• Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
