The CIS Test Lead is responsible for managing the QA function for the Customer Information System (CIS) project, ensuring the effective planning, execution, and oversight of testing efforts. This role defines and implements QA strategies, leads onshore/offshore teams, and collaborates with system integrators and functional teams to validate integrated workflows. The CIS Test Lead plays a key role in ensuring quality assurance processes align with business objectives and system functionality.
Responsibilities:
The CIS Test Lead is responsible for managing the QA function for the Customer Information System (CIS) project, ensuring the effective planning, execution, and oversight of testing efforts. This role defines and implements QA strategies, leads onshore/offshore teams, and collaborates with system integrators and functional teams to validate integrated workflows. The CIS Test Lead plays a key role in ensuring quality assurance processes align with business objectives and system functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA strategies for CIS, covering functional, data conversion, and integration testing.
- Oversee test phases, including Unit, Functional, System Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, End-to-End, and Data testing.
- Manage a team of test analysts, setting objectives, prioritizing work, and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Ensure testing aligns with brand guidelines and user experience expectations for web/UI interfaces.
- Collaborate with project leadership, scrum teams, and internal/external test resources to maintain efficient QA execution.
- Identify testing gaps, recommend improvements, and advocate for necessary product changes.
- 10 years of experience in test leadership across multiple testing phases.
- 10 years of experience in QA strategy development and managing complex data conversions and integrations.
- 5 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA testing in the utility industry.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise applications (CRM, ERP, WAM, CIS, Billing) and cloud/on-prem solutions.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA or Qmetry and scripting languages (SQL, Java, JavaScript, Unix, XML).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
