- Requires working 2 days/week onsite in King of Prussia, PA
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing loan applications.
- Assess financial documents, credit history, and risk factors to determine eligibility.
- Work closely with senior underwriters to ensure sound decision-making.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
- Ensure underwriting decisions comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for underwriting decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and financial risk assessment techniques.
- Support in preparing reports and risk assessments for underwriting approval.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 1 years of underwriting experience at a bank or other financial institution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of underwriting principles, financial statements, and credit risk analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience or internships in underwriting, banking, or financial services is a plus.
