Senior Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities :
- Proficiency in either mechanical, electrical, or piping systems is essential.
- Conducts detailed assessments of client design plans, specifications, and manuals to evaluate their practicality and implementation potential.
- Plays an active role in the cost estimation process for client projects.
- Reviews subcontractor bids to ensure they meet required standards and project needs.
- Engages in contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for, with clear definitions of roles and responsibilities.
- Verifies subcontractor documentation to ensure alignment with project scope.
- Participates in selecting and awarding subcontractors for various trades.
- Manages coordination between design and engineering teams, monitors the project's financial health, and oversees contract management.
- Ensures that construction progress aligns with project schedules, particularly during the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) phases.
- Inspects subcontractor work to confirm adherence to project specifications.
- Procures and tracks the timely delivery of project materials, maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
- Reviews and approves payment requests from vendors and subcontractors, while managing changes in project scope.
- Collaborates with design and engineering leaders to keep projects within guidelines and technical standards, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conducts site visits to evaluate project progress and quality, with potential relocation to the construction site during the MEP phase.
- Works with the main Project Manager to confirm monthly project reports.
- Reviews technical drawings and material submissions for compliance with project requirements.
- Implements and enforces safety protocols on site.
- Additional duties as needed.
