MissionXI are currently searching for an Senior Estimator to join one of Virginia's fastest growing Design-Build Contractors.
Our client is a specialist in Mission Critical Facilities and Data Center Construction, and are searching for a Senior Estimator to support their business development and sales process across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in cost estimation for data center construction, covering materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze RFPs, prepare RFIs, and develop winning bids with unmatched cost accuracy.
- Work closely with top-tier vendors and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and partnerships.
- Identify potential risks and craft contingency plans to protect project budgets and timelines.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest estimating tools & industry trends.
- Support the improvement of estimation business processes
Skills & Experience required:
- Proven background in Preconstruction Estimation, with a focus on Electrical or MEP (with extensive electrical experience)
- Experience working on Mission Critical (Hospitals, Laboratories, Military, Telecoms, Energy etc) OR ideally Data Center
- Experience estimating for ground-up construction projects
- Interest in working on Data Center construction estimation and specialising in this area
This role is hybrid in Chantilly VA, and applicants should be prepared to work 3-days a week (minimum) in the client's offices.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary and bonus - up to $160,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) and discretionary bonus
