What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Math Teacher - 2025-2026 Opening position at Missisquoi Valley Union High/Middle School?
Missisquoi Valley Union is in search of a Middle School Math Teacher to serve our 8th Grade Middle School students beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. This position will work collaboratively within the math department and a math data team, and be an active member of an 8th grade team.
The ideal candidate will have strong instructional skills, experience in Common Core aligned math education, and they must be able to support a wide range of students at various levels. They will be able to differentiate math instruction, promote productive mathematical talk, interpret and respond to data, and demonstrate flexibility and versatility in order to adapt and adjust in rapidly changing situations.
This position offers opportunities for curriculum design and pedagogical support from a data team partner, 8th grade team of teachers, and an instructional coach.
