Summary

Responsibilities
Education
Preferred: High School diploma, GED or higher
Minimum: Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
Preferred: 1 year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment. 6 months hospital or customer service experience.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Minimum: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date

Responsibilities
- Maintians environment of care.
- Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
- Develops and maintains technical skills.
- Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.
- Documents all patient transports on appropriate chart/log.
- Completes assigned goals
