SummaryAssists the licensed nursing staff in the delivery of quality patient care. Provides direct patient care, monitors patient behavior, promotes a therapeutic environment and communicates changes in patient's condition to charge nurse. This position is under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Performs other duties as assigned.Responsibilities
- Provides and / or assists in direct patient care under the supervision of the appropriate staff member.
- Assists with the admission process of all patients.
- Provides / Promotes a safe therapeutic environment.
- Maintains a clean and wholesome atmosphere for patients.
- Particpates in ongoing education.
- Facilitates and serves as group leader as assigned.
- Completes assigned goals.Requirements, Preferences and ExperienceEducationPreferred : Bachelor?s degree in a mental health related field.Minimum : Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
