PROGRAM: Mississippi Behavioral Health Services, LLC
REPORTS TO: Clinical Manager (LMHP)
SUPERVISED BY: Clinical Manager (LMHP); Regional Clinical Director; Corporate Clinical Director; Compliance officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct the delivery of services for recipients by coordinating the implementation of treatment goals with MHT, CSS, PSS and any other team members by:
- Development of treatment goals and interventions
- Leading Team meetings
- Reviewing Logs
- Assigning interventions to be completed by MHT, CSS, PSS and any other staff
- Providing training/direction to staff
- Other activities to ensure each member of the team is providing coordinated services
- Help complete intake assessments with oversight by the LMHP
- Ensure each recipient has an Individual Crisis Plan on file
- Participate in collaborative meetings with Mississippi Behavioral Health Services staff, other agencies or community and natural supports as needed
- Provide Crisis Intervention services to recipients as needed
- Complete initial authorization and all subsequent concurrent authorization assessment paperwork in a timely manner
- Be knowledgeable of and adept at producing effective, clinical documentation of every contact with the recipient, including the documentation of all “no shows,” attempts to contact, and other recipient-specific interactions, including collaboration with any outside/community agencies or resources, whether billable or non-billable
- Be able or willing to learn to use the computer to complete documentation for billing or other purposes as needed
- Document services provided regularly, concisely and completely in accordance with clinical standards by office deadline
- Available for supervision meetings, trainings, and staffing meetings as scheduled by Clinical Manager
- Return phone calls promptly
- Follow all safety rules
- Actively participate in all evaluations conducted by Mississippi Behavioral Health Services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Master of Social Work degree; or
- A Master of Arts, Science or Education degree in a mental health related field (an academic program with a curriculum content in which at least seventy percent of the required courses for the major field of study are based upon the core mental health disciplines); and
- A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of graduate level course work and/or practicum experience in applied intervention strategies/methods designed to address behavioral, emotional and mental disorders, as a part of, or in addition to the master’s degree.
