Program: Mississippi Behavioral Health Services, LLC
Reports To: Licensed Mental Health Professional, Behavioral Health Supervisor
Supervised By: Corporate Office Administrator Coordinator, Regional Manager, Regional and State Clinical Director
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all CARF and State report binders
- Ensure log reviews, monthly and quarterly supervision and quarterly chart reviews are conducted by LMHP/BHS and filed properly
- Conduct monthly/quarterly inspections and drills in accordance with DMH standards, maintain documentation, and file accordingly
- Coordinate staff trainings with LMHP/BHS for community support staff
- Maintain minutes of staff meetings and file accordingly
- Actively participates in weekly inner office staff meetings, maintains minutes, and files accordingly
- Assists in gathering needed information for submission to client insurance health plans
- Responsible for receiving client referrals, gathering general information and scheduling initial assessments for service
- Responsible for preparing documents for assessments, etc.
- Responsible for conducting reminders with clients for initial and concurrent assessments, psychiatric doctor's appointments, etc.
- Conducts monthly insurance verifications and files accordingly
- Maintains insurance units availability per client on office service summary
- Maintains community service providers weekly schedules with input from LMHP/BHS
- Maintains communication with community service providers weekly regarding client insurance active status, overlaps and overages
- Responsible for collecting community support providers logs and reviewing them for overlaps and overages
- Responsible for maintaining weekly census report, weekly community providers hours projected and worked reports and submitting them to the designated corporate staff
- Responsible for building new client clinical and medical charts within 24 to 48 hours of initial intake assessment.
- Responsible for maintaining client clinical and medical charts, ensuring that all documentation is filed appropriately and in a timely manner
- Maintains office chart room. Ensures office supplies are ordered in a timely fashion. Ensures office copier continues to function properly through regular maintenance
- Follow all safety rules
- Complete all training as it relates to the position
- Completes other duties as assigned
