We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Professional to join our team at Mississippi County Hospital System. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment, including answering telephone calls, scheduling patients, collecting copays and payments, entering data into computer systems, faxing and scanning documents, and following up on insurance claims.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible and able to work well under pressure. They will also have the ability to work on various projects and adapt to changing priorities as needed. Additional duties may include working at different locations within the hospital system, as assigned by management.
Requirements: A high school degree or equivalent is required, with some nursing assistant skills being a plus. Work experience in a medical office setting is preferred, as well as prior completion of a formal secretarial training program.
