The Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration is the primary agency responsible for State government financial and administrative operations including employee payroll, vendor payments, employee insurance, construction, maintenance, and protection of State buildings in the Capitol Complex, financial information management systems, management of the State's vehicle fleet, and numerous other related activities
About the Position:
- This position is the Director of the Bond Advisory Division.
- This position is responsible for managing the issuance of public debt in the municipal marketplace to fund capital and economic development projects.
- The division also maintains complete, accurate and timely records pertaining to the State of Mississippi’s debt obligations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field
- 10 years of accounting or related experience
