Minimum Qualifications : HS Diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal communication. Basic Computer skills. Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas : Consistently demonstrates required duties when providing patient care as evidenced by : Accurately identifying normal and abnormal EKG rhythm strips.Notifying nursing personnel of EKG changes.Notifying appropriate nursing personnel of patient requests.Remain composed, reassuring and able to provide direction during emergency situations, STAT requests and orders : functioning as a calming influence and stable factor on the nursing unit.
