Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Assistant (MF) to support our compliance efforts in housing development. This role focuses on ensuring that developments under the Housing Tax Credit (HTC) and Affordable Housing Disposition (AHD) programs meet regulatory standards. You will review development files, process data, and maintain confidentiality in managing compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate logs of all development file activities.
- Review development files for compliance with HTC, AHD, IRS, and FDIC guidelines.
- Compile and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor development eligibility requirements.
- Assist in developing compliance training materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, public policy, or related field; or 2 years of experience in housing compliance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
