JOB TITLE : Cash Management Specialist
LOCATION : Administrative Office, Senatobia, MS

Agribusiness, and rural real estate purchases and improvements. The institution is
headquartered in Senatobia, Mississippi with six full time branch offices and two
satellite offices that service the 32 counties in Northern Mississippi. With more than
1B in assets, the institution is a cooperative and part of the Farm Credit System.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND IDEAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Associate degree plus five (5) to seven (7) years of professional experience.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE :
Manages wire and ACH transfers, deposit and disbursement accounts, and loan payment application. Also handles accounts payable operations. Approves and initiates movement of funds amongst accounts according to customer needs and requests. May handle complex issues and problems. May act as a lead or first level supervisor. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Primarily responsible for the application of installment payments as they are received at the administrative and branch levels.
2. Inputs loan and funds held drafts into the loan accounting system in accordance with the appropriate supporting documentation.
3. Processes branch requests for transfers of funds.
4. Provides assistance to association branch offices in the use and maintenance of the loan accounting system and related interfaces (i.e., PAID, lockbox, Q2 Central, etc.).
5. Verifies accuracy and completeness of repetitive accounting documents, identifies discrepancies, resolves issues, and determines appropriate course of action according to established procedures.
6. Serves as the primary backup and assists daily, as needed, with the processes of loan and funds held disbursements and electronic funds transfers, among others.
7. Serves as the primary processor for the accounts payable function and communicates with branch staff and vendors, as necessary.
8. Supports the efforts of the records retention function and assists with scanning and organization of documentation to be retained.
9. Suggests and implements new and improved procedures.
10. Operates specific accounting system applications for data entry, information retrieval and / or inquiry.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
General knowledge of accounting / financial systems. Specialized knowledge of association bylaws, policies, and procedures. General knowledge of accounting / finance principles. Skilled in oral and written communication. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to perform accounting data entry, information retrieval and / or inquiry under close supervision.
This position is not a remote position and will work on-site in Senatobia, Mississippi. This position does not offer relocation assistance.
