The Mississippi Mud Monsters are seeking a driven, personable, and goal-oriented Account Executive to join our growing front office. As a new team in the Frontier League, we’re looking for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, enjoys community outreach, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty to help create an unforgettable experience for our fans.
This role is about more than just selling tickets—it’s about creating moments, fostering connections, and turning first-time attendees into lifelong fans. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive revenue by selling season ticket plans, mini-plans, group outings, and hospitality packages to businesses, organizations, and individual fans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ticket holders, ensuring top-tier customer service and engagement.
- Prospect and cold-call potential clients through phone calls, in-person meetings, and networking events.
- Create tailored presentations for prospective clients, identifying their needs and offering solutions that align with their interests.
- Represent the Mud Monsters at community events, business networking functions, and team promotional events.
- Collaborate with the marketing and game-day operations teams to ensure seamless execution of ticket promotions.
- Assist in gameday operations, hosting ticket holders and sponsors, and ensuring an elite fan experience at Trustmark Park.
- Track sales activity using Nutshell CRM, maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of sales experience in sports, entertainment, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills—you enjoy meeting new people and building relationships.
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive—you push yourself to hit and exceed goals.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball schedule.
- A passion for sports and live entertainment—bonus points if you’re excited about bringing a new brand to life in Mississippi.
