What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphics and Production Intern position at Mississippi Mud Monsters?
The Mississippi Mud Monsters are seeking current college students to be a part of the team’s 2025 season. As a Mud Monsters Graphics and Production Intern, you will get first-hand experience in the day-to-day operation of a professional baseball franchise. This is a seasonal internship position which requires college credit and will last the duration of the 2025 season only.
GRAPHICS AND PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design graphic projects for in-stadium promotions, social media, website, email and more
· Responsible for updating video board graphics on a daily basis
· Assist in developing billboard and ad creative campaigns
· Assist in leading game day production staff to execute in-stadium production
· Coordinate with off-site production company to execute video broadcast
· Assist with mascot appearances and other off-site events
· Assist in executing in-game entertainment and promotions
· Assist in executing entertainment and giveaways
· Assist with pocket schedule distribution
· Other duties as assigned
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
· Have Fun!
· Be excited to work in a professional sports environment
· Fan and community engagement (mascot appearances, pocket schedule delivery, etc)
· Assist with stadium cleanliness and overall stadium presentation
· Special events
· Assist with all tarp pulls - which may include non-game days, weekends and or holidays
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graphic design experience required
· Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required
· Video editing/motion graphic experience preferred
· Undergraduate (preferably junior or senior) or graduate student attending accredited university
· Must be able to earn college credit for internship-no exceptions
· Must be able to commit to work the entire internship period from start to finish
· Willingness and ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
· Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
· Highly motivated with strong work ethic
· Passion for sports and strong desire to work in a team environment
COMPENSATION: $750 per month
