Description:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing office supplies, assisting the public as needed, word processing, data entry & record maintenance, assisting City employees as needed, and other duties as assigned.
- Position performs routine and technical clerical and accounting duties requiring attention to accuracy and timeliness.
- Must be able to work with frequent interruptions and manage multiple priorities.
- Confidentiality and sensitivity are essential. Professional communication and conduct are a must.
- Will work under the direction and supervision of the City Clerk.
Pay is based upon education and/or experience. Experience in areas related to the position preferred. High School Diploma/GED required. Must have a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Mississippi.
