Additionally, it includes implementing an advanced analytics platform (AAP), customer experience (CX) and customer engagement platform (CEP).
The new platform, to be rolled out to Alabama Power, Georgia Power and Mississippi Power, will be implemented in phases over the next four years. Currently, we are building an ASCEND organization dedicated to helping the electric operating companies realize the vision for a modernized, efficient, digital customer experience to deeply engage with our customers and provide a more personalized experience. ASCEND will be one of the most comprehensive Customer Service and Marketing transformation initiatives in our company’s history.
JOB SUMMARY : The ASCEND program is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Report Developer to join our team. As a Report Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing a wide range of reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights to the organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and ensure the timely delivery of accurate and easily understandable reports.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- 3 years of experience in report development
- Extensive experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis
- Deep experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience in documenting code to support effective maintenance
- Proficiency in data quality and validation techniques to ensure the integrity and reliability of report data
- Knowledge of Oracle MDM and Oracle CC&B (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
