Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 20 hours per week, schedule to be determined
Salary: $14 - $16 per hour
Benefits: Sick, PTO earned on prorated basis

Qualifications / Experience
- Two-year Associate degree minimum in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience providing human resources and administrative support. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Considerable experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general office equipment such as phone, fax, copier, calculator.
- Ability to maintain tact and professionalism in difficult situations.
- Ability to present information in a clear, organized, and convincing manner.
- Must possess a valid State of Mississippi driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
Job Summary
The Part-time Office Administrator is responsible for numerous critical administrative functions of the Agency's Management, Administrative, and Executive Offices. The incumbent performs human resources and general administrative work and supports the project needs of the Executive staff.

Responsibilities:
- Participates in Agency recruiting efforts; posts job ads and receives resumes and job applications; schedules job interviews and assists with coordinating the interview process; coordinates drug testing, background checks, and reference checks.
- Maintains communication with managers and selected candidates throughout the hiring process; prepares job offers.
- Collects employment and tax information and prepares new employee files; maintains existing employee files; coordinates and/or conducts benefits enrollment process.
- Handles documents of a sensitive nature and maintains confidentiality regarding all documents and information received.
- Maintains reference library for policies and procedures used by the Agency and Board of Commissioners.
- Other duties as assigned.
