What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Team Lead position at Mississippi State Hospital?
Seventh-level Behavioral Health professional who functions primarily in an advanced clinical and / or supervisory role. Professionals at this level guide program development, the selection and implementation of Evidence Based Practices, and provide supervision and oversight of less advanced behavioral health employees (hiring, training, assignments). Administers, scores, and interprets advanced psychological assessments (personality, intellectual, neuropsychological, etc.) for clinical diagnostics and treatment plan formulation. Individuals in this classification also provide direct services including individual therapy, group therapy, and provision of behavior support services. Individuals in this classification may also serve on hospital / facility committees. Requires licensure as a psychologist in Mississippi and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed psychologist.
