What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant-CONTRACT position at Mississippi State Hospital?
MS State Hospital, near Pearl, MS, will be accepting resumes until noon Monday, February 17,2025, for the purpose of hiring (5) five Certified Nursing Assistants to work in its Jaquith Nursing Home. This is a Full-Time position in which the ideal candidate must be willing to work at least a minimum of 32 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week, plus an every other weekend rotation and a minimum of 6 state mandated holidays, including Christmas or Thanksgiving. Scheduled holidays will be determined based on the needs of the hospital. Pay Rate is $20 / hour. PERS Retirees must work a minimum of 16 to 20 hours per week at a Rate of $17.50 / hr. The Contract will begin on or after July 1, 2025 and end June 30, 2026. Original documentation verifying your proof of education, 3 current signed letters of recommendation, and CNA license are required along with your resume. CPR certification is a plus.
