Assist in conducting and maintaining experiments in field, greenhouse, and laboratory settings
Collect and process samples for research and Extension activities
Analyze data and prepare presentations for research and Extension events
Support Extension events and develop multimedia resources
Operate and manage equipment and supplies used in research experiments and Extension programs
Requirements:
Must be between ages 16-25
Must have a strong interest in agriculture and natural resources
Must be able to consistently follow instructions and work responsibly
Working Conditions:
The employee will work in non-hazardous conditions and will be limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year. The specific work schedule will depend on the age of the employee, the time of year, and whether this employment will be part of a work-based learning program at a school/college.
