Responsibilities
- The hired student is expected to work collaboratively within the MSSTATE weed science program and comply with the laboratory compacts.
- The student is expected to publish hir/her research in high impact journal during his/her Ph.D.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have a master’s degree in biotechnology, agronomy, biology, horticulture, plant and soil sciences, crop protection or related fields.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Student must obtain a Mississippi driver’s license.
- Experience in molecular biology.
- Experience in laboratory research.
- Organizational skills are essential, and ability to synthesize and analyze data is strongly recommended.
