What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist position at Mississippi Vision?
Mississippi Vision is a high volume clinical and surgical ophthalmic practice in Flowood, Mississippi that seeks a courteous and cheerful individual for a receptionist position. The person in this position will be responsible for checking patients into our clinic, analyzing insurance eligibility and benefit information for patients, and other duties as assigned. A successful candidate will be highly organized and be able to interact with patients in a kind and cheerful manner while ensuring accuracy of documentation in an extremely fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic medical records and insurance eligibility and benefits is desired. Additionally, commitment to the position and low absenteeism are requirements for success. The hours of work for this position are from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
