Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all HR functions, from employee relations, payroll, recruiting, benefits, and compliance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives while maintaining a fair and equitable work environment.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring a seamless and professional hiring process.
- Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and proactive conflict resolution.
- Maintain a strong workplace culture through training, performance management, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while proactively mitigating risks.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a direct supervisory role.
- Proven experience in benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and experience exercising professional discretion and maintaining confidentiality regarding a variety of matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Travel and Scheduling Requirements:
- Ability to travel to all 12 MWSCO locations as needed.
- Occasional out of town and overnight travel for general training, meetings, or industry functions.
