What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Driver position at Mississippi Welders Supply?

Primary duties:
- Gather and coordinate customer invoices, order requests, telephone and/or email messages regarding product delivery and route sales requirements.
- Load products in to vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Deliver products to customers and/or stock warehouses while abiding by load safety, DOT, TSA and general safe driving guidelines.
- Listen to customer needs and requests using independent judgment and discretion to satisfy the customer.
- Complete daily pick-up and drop off of cylinder products from the customer.
- Responsible for accuracy and organization of incoming freight
- Complete outgoing orders and product requests
- Initiate product returns as needed
- Assist with cycle counting process per MWSCO procedures
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Shipping and Receiving Department
- Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with all MWSCO employees.
Class B CDL required, HAZMAT endorsement preferred but can be obtained after hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
