What are the responsibilities and job description for the VMI Account Support Specialist position at Mississippi Welders Supply?
The VMI & Account Support Specialist is responsible for servicing area VMI customer accounts and assisting with any additional support needed at key accounts.
Primary duties:
Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) duties for MWSCO branch location
· Pick, pack, load and deliver product to customers accordingly
· Maintain established stock levels at customer locations
· Maintain relationships with key customer personnel
· Ensure that customer questions and concerns are promptly and courteously resolved
· Assist with repairs and operations of vending machines as necessary
· Maintain a high level of MWSCO product knowledge in order to keep customers educated and informed on industry products and standards
Sales Activities
· Work with existing customers to actively sell products and services
· Leverage relationships to grow sales within existing established customers
· Maintain good communication with the OSR (Outside Sales Representative) assigned to specific customer accounts
· Assist as needed keying invoices, quotes, and researching customer needs
· Communicate with key personal at the customer locations to identify product needs
· Follow up to customer requests

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in varied weather conditions and business locations
- Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
