EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Follows through with field work assignments, follows protocols, conducts quality assurance and maintenance on field equipment, completes field forms and digital forms. Assesses and packages waste materials and ensures packaging and disposal in accordance with State and federal regulations. Maintains disposal records. Writes and researches reports, email correspondence, and outreach materials. Establishes and updates protocols for data collection, worker and public safety, and ensures compliance with these protocols. Conducts field visits; inspects and inventories compliance. Performs site mapping. Collects, compiles and enters data into computer databases. Investigates public complaints related to water quality and waste dumping. Conducts monitoring of surface and groundwater, and potentially contaminated soils. Completes report forms.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Requires frequent physical exertion and bending. Requires walking or climbing over rough, uneven surfaces. Requires the use of personal protective equipment including personal flotation device. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
