Baseball Operations and Clubhouse Intern (FREE HOUSING & PAID)
The Missoula PaddleHeads franchise is excited to finally take the field for the 2025 season and fully expect it will be our best season ever. We are committed to putting together a collaborative front office team that includes interns who share our passion for doing right, engaging meaningfully and expecting success. As the Baseball & Stadium Operations Intern, you will learn the ins and outs of team operations, working directly with players, coaches, and front office staff to create a unique and professional baseball experience for all. With a clear vision toward a bright future, we will work together to maximize the fan experience, create a deeper sense of community value and stand as the centerpiece for everything baseball for our good neighbors in Missoula. We are looking for a seasonal team member with a hunger to be in professional sports who wants to grow both personally and professionally while learning the business of baseball.
This is a paid ‘For-Credit’ internship. Housing provided.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Honor our working values and participate as part of the team
- Must have pride in and take ownership of the stadium and the fan experience
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage time well
- A passion to work hard and embrace success
- Develop strong relationships with front office, coaches, players, trainers, etc. to ensure needs are being met and collect live and honest feedback
- Assist the Clubhouse Manager with any and all Clubhouse operations (including both Home and Visitor’s clubhouse)
- Assist in the oversight of team analytics using the Trackman System. This includes setup, input, collection, and processing.
- Manage the daily use of MLB’s Synergy system. This includes camera setup, game time filming collection, and system post game upload.
- Act as a liaison between the players/coaches/team and the front office to ensure open and active communication
- Assist in coordination of any and all aspects of team travel
- Organize and coordinate player/coach interviews, promotions, and public appearances with the Director of Marketing & Public Relations
- Any other duties assigned
2025 Summer Projects:
Baseball Analytics Using Trackman and Synergy:
Be responsible for the set up and capturing of required analytic data using the Trackman and Synergy systems. This includes developing daily protocols to set up and collect the data, upload the data, and provide necessary reports as required by coaches and front office. This project will work hand in hand with PaddleHeads President, Manager, and Coaches to determine what analytics we need, how often, and in what form of presentation. This may also include some form analysis of the data and providing needed trends and information to the team.

This includes overseeing resources such as food and water, cleanliness, laundry fulfillment, and other needs determined by the assessment.
