What you will do:
- Provide core training and orient new care management staff to the company’s Care Management policies, procedures and practices.
- Instruct new care management staff regarding their role.
- Train care management staff on the Wraparound Process and philosophy along with the Missouri child welfare Practice Model. Evaluate their ability to implement these concepts and processes.
- Instruct the care management staff in the use of software programs and evaluate their ability to use the system and meet the established timelines and requirements for data entry.
- Instruct care management staff in the facilitation of Family Support Team Meetings (FSTs) using Wraparound Process, 5 Domains of Wellbeing, Trauma Informed Care, and Signs of Safety, concepts and evaluate their ability to effectively facilitate FSTs using these concepts.
- Instruct care management staff in the creation of Treatment Plans and Safety Plans that are consistent with the Agency’s philosophies and evaluate the development of these plans.
- Instruct care management staff in Permanency Planning and the Adoption and Safe Families Act.
- Provide constructive feedback to new care managers and supervisors on a regular basis.
- Develop training schedules for each new care management staff to ensure enough on the job training is available to expose new staff to all aspects of the care management process.
- Provide initial and ongoing training for care management supervisors.
- Provide refresher training as needed.
- Ensure that training reflects all policy changes and updates.
- Develop, arrange and/or facilitate in-service training on a variety of relative subjects for all staff.
- Develop, implement and evaluate training staff, including annual or needed employment policies and procedures training in coordination with the HR Director.
Who you are:
- You have at least a Bachelor's degree in a human behavioral science such as Social Work, Psychology, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, or Child Development. A Master's degree is preferred. of protective social services, family preservation services or targeted case management services. Coursework must include 30 semester or 45 quarter hours either in development of human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measure, or therapeutic techniques, such as social work, psychology,
- You have a minimum of three years of experience in the delivery of protective social services, family preservation services or targeted case management services in a public or private agency is required. Prior supervisory and training experience is preferred.
- You have a valid driver's license, a good driving record that would allow for you to be approved to drive a company vehicle, vehicle insurance and adequate transportation (in the event a company vehicle is not available).
- You are able to pass background checks.
