New Graduate - Class of 2025
The Missouri Attorney General's Office is looking for current third-year law students with excellent credentials who are interested in making a difference in the State to join our Class of 2025. Class members start with other newly-barred attorneys in August following graduation and receive specialized training and individualized mentorship. Openings will be available in a variety of sections within the Civil and Criminal Divisions. A description of these sections may be found at: https://ago.mo.gov/about-us/about-the-office/.
Placement of new attorneys is based on both need and preference. New attorney positions may be in any of our five offices (Jefferson City, St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Cape Girardeau) based on office need with the majority of Class placements located in Jefferson City.
Preferred experience/skills:
- Strong interest in courtroom and trial litigation;
- Commitment to public service;
- Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy.

All candidates must agree to spend a minimum of two years at the Attorney General's Office and the position is contingent upon candidates obtaining a Missouri law license.
Starting salary is $70,000.
