Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome patients, friends, and family to our clinic.
Efficiently register and schedule patient appointments.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls, relaying messages accurately between patients and clinical staff.
Uphold the US Oncology Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, and Business Standards.
Essential Duties:
Ensure a prompt and courteous check-in for patients, notifying clinical staff of arrivals.
Assist patients with necessary paperwork and update their information in our system.
Collect co-pays and balances, providing receipts.
Schedule follow-up appointments and provide patients with detailed information.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA laws.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a receptionist or office role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) necessary.
