This is a hybrid position that will be required to visit the office every Wednesday.

Missouri Employers Mutual prides itself on being a Safety Company. Every department at MEM works to ensure our insureds and their employees arrive home safely after a day at work. We are seeking a self-motivated Software Engineer intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor, other software engineers and IT leadership.
You will be a part of an agile team focused on real projects that provide value to stakeholders. This internship will follow core agile methodologies including scrum, feature-driven development, and agile ceremonies. On top of technical skills, it will also develop your problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork. The finished projects will be presented to upper management at the end of the internship.
What are we looking for?
- Familiar with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, python)
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work in a team
- Able to understand and solve business problems using technology
