Director of Regulatory Policy
The Missouri Hospital Association is seeking a director of regulatory policy. This position is responsible for advocacy and member assistance in the application of statutory, regulatory and accreditation standards for services provided by hospitals and health systems.
A bachelor’s degree is required with graduate work in a related field desired. Must have experience in a hospital environment; preferably a minimum of three years in an operational or administrative capacity. Must have knowledge of clinical care processes and practices in hospital settings. Must possess a working knowledge of regulatory and clinical aspects of health care delivery. Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and/or health accreditation organizations is required. Experience as a licensed clinical practitioner in nursing or a comparable patient care discipline is strongly preferred. Legal, advocacy or hospital risk management experience is a plus. Experience in working with membership organizations, task forces and other collaborative organizational initiatives is preferred. Experience in resource and presentation development and delivery in a variety of formats is preferred. This position will have occasional overnight travel.
