Missouri Made Marijuana is immediately hiring a Lead One for our Dispensary in Joplin, MO.

**Valid Missouri Agent ID REQUIRED for employment. Employer will provide letter in order for employee to obtain card.

An outstanding Lead One demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that patients are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases.

Lead One Responsibilities:

• Ensure budtenders are doing their jobs properly and following all company policies and procedures
• Gain and maintain knowledge of company policies as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding cannabis
• Enforce all company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal laws
• Provide support for budtenders and management in any capacity needed
• Perform periodic cash drops for budtender’s cash drawers
• Count employee drawers at end of shift, accurately prepare cash drop bag
• Oversee sales floor, correct and coach employee issues when necessary
• Answer employee and guest questions regarding prices, products, deals, hours of operation, policies and procedures, etc.
• Resolve customer issues if possible, pass issues on to management if necessary
• Pull products from inventory backstock
• Perform function tests on faulty customer cartridges or hardware, exchange items if compliant and eligible
• Perform product voids for customer issues or budtender errors
• Change product prices for deal days or when new items are received
• Accurately issue vendor payments in a professional and timely manner
• Delegate tasks for budtenders to complete during slow times
• Maintain shop cleanliness and general upkeep
• Create daily break schedule for employees
• Communicate with management regarding shift needs, concerns, customer or employee issues, ideas for shop improvement, questions, employee attendance etc.
• Send daily closing reports to the necessary individuals in a timely manner
• Assist in other departments when needed
• Create compliant and visually appealing displays for new or sale items
• Fill out necessary daily logs
• Budtend if needed during busy times
• Assist managers in issuing discipline to employees
• Record employee attendance and variance infractions :

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience with customer service and cash handling
• Working knowledge of cannabis strains and products
• Proficiency in cash handling
• Organizational skills
• Communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Reliability
• 21 years of age or older
• Experience in cannabis industry preferred but not required
• Supervisory or management experience preferred but not required
• Minimum of 1 year of retail sales required
• Agent card preferred but not required
• Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of company, State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations as they pertain to cannabis sales, possession, and usage in Nevada
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
• POS system experience required
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods (8 hours)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour
