Missouri Military Academy seeks a Commandant of Cadets, a strong and experienced military leader and role model for our middle and high school cadets. This position offers a unique opportunity to educate, mentor and inspire young men as they navigate critical stages of personal, physical and academic development to prepare for college and adulthood. In this role, the candidate will establish and maintain a structured, supportive and orderly environment for learning that encourages self-discipline, personal responsibility, accountability, and a highly organized lifestyle; while also overseeing new cadet matriculation, training and assimilation into the Academy’s military structured environment, and the development of strong and confident cadet leaders. The commandant also oversees the planning and implementation of MMA summer camps and coordinates with the Army JROTC department to ensure the Academy maintains high standard to retain the Honor Unit with Distinction rating. The Commandant reports directly to the Academy President.
